NEW PATIENTS
Welcome to ABC Pediatrics!
We are accepting new patients, both newborns and pediatric patients transferring in from other providers. As a new patient to our practice, we ask that you please bring your child’s immunization records and be prepared to complete forms regarding medical history and insurance information. You can download and print these forms prior to your visit, or arrive 30 minutes prior to your appointment to fill them out at our office. What to Expect as a New Patient at ABC Pediatrics
Our physicians strongly believe immunizations protect children’s health and save lives. We follow the CDC/AAP immunization schedule and we require all of our patients to become fully vaccinated following these guidelines. To see the full immunization schedule, click here.
As your child’s Patient Centered Medical Home, we offer same day appointments for sick and urgent care visits.
We have two offices available to serve you. You may reach either office by calling 616.458.3677. Our Walker office opens at 9am. Dr.’s Staublin, Hoogstra, Chou, Perry, Holeman and Medrano all see patients at our Walker office. Dr.’s Hoogstra, Perry, Holeman and Medrano also see patients at our Wyoming office. Our Wyoming office opens at 8am. We encourage you to Call Us First for non-life threatening urgent care issues, both during and after-hours. Our physicians will make every effort possible to accommodate your needs that day and help you to determine the appropriate place for treatment. If you call us after hours, you'll always receive a return call from one of our own physicians. Our answering service will forward all medical-need inquiries to one of our on-call pediatricians, who will contact you directly (within a half hour) to provide the appropriate medical direction as necessary. For your convenience, our after-hours telephone number is the same as our regular office telephone number: (616) 458-3677.
Our office is open on Saturdays starting at 9am for acute/urgent care visits. Appointments are necessary and may be obtained by calling the office beginning at 8:30am at (616) 458-3677.
Our physicians have active privileges at Spectrum Health/Helen Devos Children’s Hospital.
Our patient portal allows easier access to both your child’s medical records and communication with our physicians and staff. By registering with a staff member, you will be able to: view your portions of your child’s medical record, print their immunization record, communicate with physicians and staff, request both appointments and prescription refills and pay your bill online.
