As a Patient Centered Medical Home Practice, our patients have daily access to our physicians and healthcare team including after hours for emergencies. We offer same-day appointments at both our Walker and Grandville office locations.

Practice Hours

Our Walker office is open Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our Grandville office is open Monday to Friday from 8:00am – 4:00pm. For urgent medical issues only, our Walker office is also open on Saturday at 9:00am. We also have an after-hours support system (see below).

After Hours Telephone Calls

If you have an urgent medical situation that you feel cannot wait until the next business day, you may call us after hours. You'll always get a return call from one of our own physicians. Our answering service will forward all medical-need inquiries to one of our on-call pediatricians, who will contact you directly (within a half hour) to provide the appropriate medical direction as necessary. For your convenience, our after-hours telephone number is the same as our regular office telephone number: (616) 458-3677. Please note that if you have an urgent or real life-threatening situation, go directly to the emergency room or call 911 (see below).

    Poison Control 1-800-222-1222
Life-Threatening Situations Call 911 Immediately or proceed to the nearest Emergency Room.

Emergent/Urgent Care

Life-threatening situations of ANY kind should be taken IMMEDIATELY to a hospital emergency room. If you have a non-life threatening urgent care issue, you can contact our office and we’ll make every effort possible to accommodate your needs that day.

Appointments

It’s our goal to ensure that we fully respect your time and busy lifestyle, and that’s why we’ll do our very best to see you promptly at your scheduled appointment time. To help us achieve this goal, we ask you to please arrive on-time for all appointments. Please note that, given the reality of medical and health assessments and procedures, it is impossible to know with 100% accuracy how long an appointment will take. In such cases, if you are asked to wait, we ask for and greatly appreciate your patience.

Telephone Calls

We’re here to serve you and your family. Our dedicated, caring and skilled office staff are trained to answer many questions, and will ideally be able to resolve your inquiry immediately when you call. However, there may be times where our office staff is unable to completely answer your questions. In those cases, we may need to prioritize patient calls in order of urgency. Please be assured that your communication is very important to us and we will surely get back to you to answer your questions and concerns.

Hospital Affiliation

Our board certified pediatricians are on staff at Spectrum Health (Butterworth Campus/Helen Devos Children's Hospital).
